Container Weight Limitations

The maximum gross weight of a container for our road transport in Victoria is 30 t.

Therefore max cargo weight is:

• 27.72 t per 20’ GP (less if HC or reefer)
• 26.17 t per 40’ GP (less if HC or reefer)

Weights greater than this will require unpacking at the terminal and will incur additional charges.

Additionally, containers with a max gross weight of over 23 t will incur additional charges due to additional resource expenditures to maintain compliance.
